Hazro (حضرو)
is a town located at north-west of Pakistan in Attock
District of the Punjab province Pakistan.
It is located approximately halfway between Peshawar and Islamabad.
This town is the Headquarter of Hazro
Tehsil, an
administrative subdivision of the district, and the central
marketplace of the CHACHH region,
consisting of 82 villages located along the River. Population of
Hazro City as per Census 2017 is 39480, which was 27426 as per
Census 1998.It connected with M1 via Chachh Interchange distance
about 5 Km from City and with G.T Road at Hattian about 7 Km.
Hazro Town was constituted a
Second Class Municipality in 1886 by notification No. 100 dated
10-02-1886.It is now Municipal Committee with 12 Wards. Tehsil Hazro
is located between 33.9053º” North Latitude and 72º47’91” East
